How Sparengine collects, uses, and protects your personal data, in compliance with GDPR and the French Data Protection Act.
At sparengine.com, we are committed to ensuring the highest level of protection for your personal data, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.
We only collect your email address, and solely when you voluntarily provide it through our contact form or newsletter subscription. This information is used exclusively to respond to your inquiries, deliver updates, and maintain direct communication with you.
In addition to personal contact information, Sparengine processes aviation records uploaded by clients as part of an engagement. These records may include aircraft logbooks, maintenance documentation, compliance status reports, and other technical files.
Records are processed solely to produce the snapshot agreed for the engagement. Sparengine does not use client records to train models, does not share them with third parties beyond what is required to deliver the service, and retains them only as long as required to deliver the service.
For a detailed explanation of how aviation records are handled, including security measures, processing pipeline, and provider arrangements, please see our Data Handling and Privacy page.
Our contact form is managed through Tally, which acts as a data processor under GDPR. Tally processes the information you submit on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions.
We also use Google Analytics and Google Search Console to analyse website performance and understand user activity. These tools may collect anonymised statistical data. We do not attempt to identify users through these tools.
We do not sell, rent, or disclose your personal data to third parties unless required to fulfil a service you requested or to meet a legal obligation.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Despite these precautions, no method of digital transmission or storage can be guaranteed as completely secure.
In accordance with GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict the processing of your personal data. You may also withdraw your consent at any time and lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL).
To exercise any of your rights, you may contact us using the contact information provided on our website.
By using our website and submitting your email address, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this Privacy Policy.
