When the asset goes back, the records have to come with it
A lease is ending. The asset must return in the condition the contract requires, and the records have to prove it. Maintenance has run across years, MROs, and jurisdictions. The redelivery bible has to be complete, and the gaps closed before the asset leaves.

An asset is being broken down for parts. Engines, landing gear, avionics, components. Each part has its own value, and that value depends on the records that travel with it. A life limited part with full traceability sells; the same part without it does not.

A customer holds records for an asset or fleet, and volume is the problem. Tens of thousands of pages, years of operation, scattered across systems, formats, and time periods. A human team would take months, and by the time they finished, the records would be out of date.
